Flage-Mast Wedding (May '08)

Dave's childhood best friend, Dave Flage, married Jessica at St. Michael's, MD. The Bartoli family stayed at the Inn at Perry Cabin, the site of the wedding. The weather was beautiful, the ceremony was overlooking the Chesapeake Bay, and we had a great time connecting with Dave's family / friends.

Bay-to-Breakers (May '08)

Living up to San Francisco tradition, we partook in the 12K "party walk" with the rowdy Triage gang... and this year our theme was the Kiddy Pool Party (compared to previous years: '07 theme = 1984 USA Olympic Flip-cup Champions, '06 theme = Baywatch, '05 theme = Running of the Bulls).

Our group had some wild costumes, ranging from kids dressed in floaties to MILFs "watching their kids at the pool". With the exception of the float break-down by time we crossed Market St (only 20% to the finish line), the day was a blast. We stopped at Carly's place to say hi to Carlos/Carly and then made our way to Golden Gate Park to wrap up the event.

Napa Wine Company (wet) Spring Fling (May '08)

With Michelle visiting from the East Coast, we loaded up in the car, picked up Matt and Andrea, and ventured up to Napa Valley on a soggy, soggy day for the Napa Wine Company Spring Fling event. This annual even entails wine poured by the wine-makers, delicious food (Hog Island oysters, pizza, bbq'd meat, etc.) and live music. It finally stopped raining 1/2 through the event, but it didn't bother us at all. We enjoyed meeting the wine-makers, and trying their wine.












The next day, we made our way out to the Strelaus for a BBQ and to spend some time with Bev and Gio, who made a surprise visit from England.

San Francisco Go-Kars (April '08)

With Toby and Cross visiting, we took the plunge into the land of tourism by renting Go-Kars with Eric Shuai and Kristy Davis (great idea guys). These things are GPS-enabled vehicles that direct you on a specific path through the city with a very humorous narration.

Of course the trip was capped off with a trip to Wine Country, where we hit up several Healdsburg / Geyserville favorites.
